NHS Annual Forum 2015
The NHS annual forum was held yesterday with the attendance of H.E Mr. Abdulla bin Khalid Al Qahatani, Minister of Public Health and numerous VIPs from both Public and private sector. The Activation of SMS Service

Doha, 21 September 2014: An ever greater number of Qatari nationals are benefitting from Seha, the National Health Insurance Scheme, as the choices for seeking treatment increase with the expanding provider network. Doha, 25 March 2014 – The National Health Insurance Company (NHIC) is finalising its preparations to launch the second stage of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in late-April 2014.
The second stage will see health insurance coverage expanded to include all Qatari nationals for their basic health needs. When fully launched by 2015, the NHIS will provide universal health coverage to all people living in Qatar. More than 30,000 women benefit from National Health Insurance Scheme during first six months
Doha, 05 February 2014 – An ever increasing number of Qatari women are benefiting from the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as the system marks six month since its launch. A total of 30,780 women have been treated under the scheme as of 17th January, which under Stage 1 is open to Qatari women aged 12 and above for maternity, obstetrics, gynaecology and related women’s healthcare needs.
These included 5,672 inpatients and 25,118 outpatients at participating hospitals and clinics, while the call center received over 2,269 enquiries during its first six months of operations

Supreme Council of Health holds information session for healthcare providers on the National Health Insurance Scheme
Doha, 01 December 2013 – The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) organized a forum for healthcare providers to introduce them to the new national health insurance plan.
The forum, held in Doha in co-operation with National Health Insurance Company, was attended by more than 150 representatives of major clinics and hospitals in the country.
