In the case of a planned visit, please call and set an appointment with your chosen provider. When you arrive for your appointment, please present your Qatar ID card at the reception. This is important when you go to a provider, as the card is necessary to verify your identity and scope of coverage within the scheme. If you are using Seha for the first time, you will be requested to provide details of your residential address, which can be found on the plate installed by the Centre for Geographical Information System (CGIS) on all buildings across the country.

The provider will identify and verify your details and coverage, and process any relevant paperwork. You will then have your appointment with the relevant doctor, together with any applicable procedures. Please note that while many tests are automatically covered within the appointment, some more complex procedures and tests may require additional approvals from the insurance company. You may need to come back for such procedures or tests once the insurance company has approved them.

In case of an emergency, please visit the provider’s emergency services department and follow the same identification procedure for service.
